Philadelphia Sinfonia

The award-winning Philadelphia Sinfonia (PS) is our most advanced full symphonic orchestra for talented students with significant orchestral experience. Composed of musicians aged 14 to 23, PS has a rich history of performing some of the greatest orchestral works, including Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, Brahms’ Symphony No. 2, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, among others. PS has traveled extensively throughout the world, performing to standing-room only crowds in South America, Europe and Russia. This orchestra performs three to four concerts each season throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
