Nolan Wenik

Program Associate

Nolan Wenik graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Music in bassoon performance and a minor in music theory in 2021, where he developed an interest in historical pedagogical and performance practices and how they can inform a deeper connection to music today. He is a 2017 alum of Philadelphia Sinfonia as a bassoonist but began his relationship with the organization as a clarinetist in the inaugural 2012-2013 season of Philadelphia Sinfonia Players. He is excited to now work with Philadelphia Sinfonia Association as a member of its administrative staff, to which he brings an intimate understanding of the students’ experiences and today’s music culture to support as fulfilling a program as possible. Aside from his professional pursuits, you can find him experimenting with home coffee brewing, reading fiction novels, or listening to jazz.
