Leigh Brown

Program Intern

Leigh Brown is a dedicated cellist who, during their six years obtaining their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Temple University, put on multiple outstanding solo and chamber music recitals, performed for world-class musicians and in world-class venues, and held for two years straight the spot of co-principal cellist of the Temple University Symphony Orchestra. They are also an avid Flyers fan, Philadelphia lover, and writer. They write and read poetry, essays, and fiction, consume as much art as they can, and are currently teaching themselves Russian partly through Russian novels in translation. They work as a freelance cellist and copyeditor, are an administrative intern for the Philadelphia Sinfonia, and teach cello privately. They live in South Philly with their husband Noah and two cats, Sage and Munchie.
