Claire Boell

Claire Boell is a junior at Temple University, majoring in Music Education with a concentration in tuba. She additionally holds leadership roles at Temple as the president of NAfME collegiate chapter 51 and corresponding secretary for Sigma Alpha Iota, Delta Mu chapter. Claire is the principal tubist and staff intern for the Philadelphia Sinfonia and a freelance musician in the greater Philadelphia and NEPA areas. She has had the honor of performing in masterclasses with Øystein Baadsvik, Jono Hill, Michael Moore, and Patricio Cosentino. Claire is a student of Jay Krush and Michael Parker. An avid educator, Claire teaches private brass lessons, is a PSIA level I certified alpine ski instructor, and was a summer intern for Play on Philly in 2024. Outside of music, Claire enjoys reading, baking, and volunteering in cat rescue.
