Philadelphia Sinfonia Students Featured in a New Video Production Series: Hear Philly!
We are proud to announce the release of a new video series by a new production company, Creative Synergy Media, that showcases Philadelphia Sinfonia and its students for the series’ entire first year! This series, “Hear Philly”, opened September 25, 2021 on YouTube and IGTV and will continue with a new video release each Saturday morning of a solo performance by a Philadelphia Sinfonia musician. Adah Kaplan, violin, was the featured soloist September 25.
The mission of Creative Synergy Media (CSM) is to shine a light on the arts, small business, education, and the people behind everything; all in the context of our global habitat. While the focus of this series is local – arts education in Philadelphia – it’s reach is global. Our students’ videos will be seen across the country and world-wide!
Philadelphia Sinfonia was chosen by CSM for the strength of its mission and depth of orchestral training program, and for fostering students’ civic engagement, both here and abroad. We are honored and pleased, in our 25th Anniversary Season, to be chosen to represent Philadelphia and its vibrant, vital arts community. Video production began last spring in our beautiful home, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, and will continue throughout this year.
Give a listen to our first joint video with Creative Synergy Media in their “Hear Philly” series featuring the arts in Philadelphia. This first video features PS member Adah Kaplan, violin, performing Bach’s Sonata No. 1 in G minor – Presto.
