Kasey MacAdams

Program Manager

Kasey Friend MacAdams is the Program Manager for Philadelphia Sinfonia Association. In addition to her role with Sinfonia, Kasey teaches music at Overbrook School for the Blind and freelances throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

Ms. MacAdams is a passionate and accomplished musician with a degree in music education and performance from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music & Dance. As a student, she studied horn under Randy Gardner and Angela Bilger. She had the honor of participating in master classes featuring distinguished artists such as Jeffery Lang, Ernesto Tovar Torres, William Purvis, and Richard Deane. Kasey’s commitment to music extends beyond performance. She served as an instructor for Community Music Scholars Program’s Brass & Wind Project and as a peer tutor for Boyer’s Music Theory department. In her current role at Overbrook School for the Blind, Kasey teaches general music across four educational programs, directs two choral ensembles and presents bi-annual concert programs.
