Judith Mendelsohn, Executive Director
Judith Mendelsohn became Sinfonia's Executive Director in March 2015. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, she earned her B.A. in anthropology (magna cum laude) through the McBride Scholars Program. Her most recent position was Manager of Visitor Services at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, Philadelphia's natural history museum. Judith has a background in non-profit administration, having worked as the Program Associate at Network for New Music, a Philadelphia commissioning and performing ensemble, for seven years. She has worked at several other museums and music schools in the Boston area as well. Judith originally joined Philadelphia Sinfonia as an administrative assistant in 2008, and afterwards continued her connection to Sinfonia as a volunteer. She studied piano and French horn in her youth and continues her musical interest today as a devoted audience member.
Hannah Albrecht, Administrative Coordinator
Hannah Albrecht is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, where she studied piano and organ performance and composition. In addition to working in the Sinfonia office, she is the organist at the Church of the Messiah in Gwynedd, PA and works as a freelance piano accompanist. She has continued her education through the summer Baroque Performance Institute at Oberlin College and classes in foreign language and silversmithing. Ms. Albrecht always makes time to cook new recipes, practice ballet, and dabble in the visual arts.
